SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it is alarmed about the significant quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some superior quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The service level established for click here intervention experiences a substantial inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it tricky with the office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more resources to help the servicing of all prospects and increase access to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
